Bangalore archdiocese sends out green message on Christmas

The church has drawn up an elaborate plan to do their bit to tackle climate change.

 
Bangalore: 

The Bangalore archdiocese sent out a message of pollution free earth during the Christmas celebrations.

School children waved the posters with messages like “Pollution free earth”, “Save earth” and “Nurture nature” during the celebrations hosted by Archbishop Bernard Moras of Bangalore on Dec. 22.

The church has drawn up an elaborate plan to do their bit to tackle climate change.

"We will hold awareness programs in various schools to educate children about the effects of their actions on environment. They will be instrumental in guiding their parents and create awareness among public," the archbishop said.
